Cookie policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar storage seocourier.com uses, what each does and how you control them. It follows the Danish Cookie Order (cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the GDPR.
1. The short version
We use essential storage to make the cart and your choices work. We use Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies. Nothing optional loads before you choose, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
2. What are cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. We also use browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works in a similar way. We call them all "cookies" here.
3. Settings panel
The cookie settings panel opens the first time you visit and whenever you choose "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. It has two rows. Necessary is always on and keeps your cart, your language and your cookie choice. Analytics is off until you switch it on, and uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and show which pages are used.
You can press Accept all, Reject all or Save my choice, and each carries the same weight. To change your mind later, open Cookie settings in the footer or use the Cookie settings button at the end of this page.
4. The cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sc-consent | Necessary (localStorage) | Stores your cookie choice and its date | 12 months |
| sc-cart-v1 | Necessary (localStorage) | Keeps the items in your cart | Until you clear it or complete an order |
| sc-order (session) | Necessary (sessionStorage) | Shows your order on the confirmation page. No card data. | Until you close the tab |
| sc-lang | Necessary (localStorage) | Remembers your language choice | 12 months |
| _ga | Analytics (first-party cookie) | Distinguishes visitors, set only after consent | 2 years |
| _ga_{container ID} | Analytics (first-party cookie) | Keeps session state, set only after consent | 2 years |
Necessary storage doesn't need consent because the site can't work without it. We use no advertising or marketing cookies.
5. Google Analytics 4
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous data about how you use the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referrer. Google Ireland Limited provides the service, and data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep the data for 14 months. Before you consent, no analytics request is made to Google and Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied.
6. Your choice
- You can accept all, reject all or choose, on your first visit.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with "Change cookie settings" on this page or "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing stops analytics from then on.
- We store your choice for 12 months and then ask again.
- You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
- The website works fully if you reject analytics.
7. Third-party content
Our contact page shows a static map image. Nothing loads from Google Maps until you click "Open in Google Maps", which opens Google's site in a new tab under Google's own privacy terms.
